Bird-watching
In the spring the nature of Öland is teeming with activity and the right place to be at if you like birds. A sure sign of the season is when the flight of birds are crossing the island on their journey to the north. Close to the house there’s a nature walk that takes you to a bird tower that is overlooking the bog and gives you a good view of the bird life. Other nearby places to visit if you like bird-watching is Petgärde Träsk, Södviken and Hornsjön.
